Facebook is ”a never ending story” because they are always building new stuff on the site – making it more user friendly and more fun to use.
This time they have made a new feature to Messenger that allows users to sent messages that will disappear after an hour. This new feature looks a lot like Snapchat all though it´s a little different from what you are used to if you are a Snapchat user.
With the new disappearing messages feature you will be able to sent messages and images that will disappear in an hour, but it´s important to understand that the receiver of the message always are able to take a screenshot of the message as well as images – Just like on Snapchat – making them able to save the message or image.
In a statement provided to USA TODAY, Facebook said it is experimenting with the feature in France, but it may expand to other countries in the future.
“We’re excited to announce the latest in an engaging line of optional product features geared towards making Messenger the best way to communicate with the people that matter most,” read the statement. “Disappearing messages gives people another fun option to choose from when they communicate on Messenger. We look forward to hearing people’s feedback as they give it a try.”
6 billion videos are being watched every day on Snapchat, but Facebook is still in front with 8 billion views every single day!
