Google has lost data from datacenter in Belgium

Google´s datacenter in Belgium, Europe, has lost some data after it has been hit by lightning four times I a row. According to Google it´s nothing but an absolutely small loss of data, because they staff was acting fast to save as much information as possible.

Google is taking the full responsibility of the accident, but that doesn´t help the very few people who has lost data – if that´s the case.

You say that lightning can´t strike twice at the same place, but this time Google has proved that it really can happen – even four times.

The loss of data was caused by a brief loss of power on the datacenter located in Belgium.

Google has committed to upgrade their hardware after the accident so that they will be ready to handle a case like this if it´s going to happen again which is quite unlikely.
