Apple´s new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus has sold more than 13 million in the first weekend on the market which means that we are dealing with a new record – once again.
The sales “have been phenomenal” since the pair of new iPhones were released Friday, Apple CEO Tim Cook crowed in a press release, according to NBDNews.com. The 13-million figure is a new record for iPhone sales, and it’s 30 percent higher than the previous record.
Apple sold 10 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models earlier last year, but those numbers where significantly muted by a delayed launch date in China.
There are some new smart features on the new iPhone. I.e. “3-D Touch” feature that tell the difference between a light tap and deep press has been released.
